App stuck in "No Open" mode after download?!?!
I downloaded a bundle of apps, and Vandelay Multiband echo is the only app in the bundle that is hung up. The other three apps in the bundle downloaded fine, Vandelay did say "waiting" underneath it, now it has the app name.. But, I cannot open it, or delete it to re-download it. it is also a dark color, not the faded color of an app being downloaded, and not the color the app icon should be?
I have:
tried and tried to delete app, and open app. I have rebooted my device, I have done a complete shut down. I don't know what to do to free this app from Purgatory? Any thoughts?
Thanks

Hi.
You have anouth space left ob the device?
Sometimes has the AppStore Problems maybe its works later.
I had this problem a while back. There is another way to delete apps or bad downloads that might work for you.
Launch the device "Settings" app. Go to General settings and then into Storage & iCloud Usage. Next go into the Manage Storage under Storage (not iCloud). All the apps on your device will list. Hopefully, you will find the faulty app/download there in the list (my bad app/download did show up here. I deleted it and it worked for me). Find the faulty app/download in the list of apps and tap on it - this will move you to a page where you can "delete app". If successful you can then re-download the app and give it another go. I hope this works for you. Let us know how it turns out.
thanks for the replies/ideas. I ended up connecting it to my computer, which I hardly ever do. It showed it was downloaded, so I clicked the option to remove it off the ipad next sync, then added it on the next sync and all was good. Funny little bug though.
