Video...6144 equalizer by DDMF, Fantastic Audio Unit Effect

The 6144 equalizer by DDMF is a simulation of the Neve Portico 5033 Hardware Half Rack EQ
I think it does this very well indeed because the thing with the hardware was that it’s almost impossible to make it sound harsh or bad no matter how much you boost any particular frequency, of which there are five to play with.
Its also hard to make the DDMF 6144 sound bad too as you will hear in the demo.

  • Great work Doug. Nice playing and sounds awesome (especially both together).

  • Thanks man, it does make stuff very shiny

  • Thanks sounds great indeed

  • Nice demo of this equaliser. Can see that adding some much needed power to Cubasis and I don't think people realise how great the drums included with the DAW sound.
Talking of Cubasis, one tip I found by accident, if you hold down your finger on a clip in the timeline for long enough it will position the loop markers to fit. Saves having to do all that zooming and adjusting.

So, it's like Brasso for music. :)

I've got to get more work, Doug. I see these videos, and find something else I may not need, but certainly covet.
