This new one's useful, I can almost work out how the special magic happens

  • exactly what I was thinking , this is one of those devs that makes the iPad amazing

Yep, I love Fieldscaper too. Load them both up in Aum, feed them through Möbius along with a mad modular synth or two, maybe triggered via Fugue or Patterning, press record and go and make a pot of tea - maybe warm a tin of soup too. Come back 20 mins later you've got a lovely ambient soundscape to enjoy with your dinner.

  • great ideas, this I'm going to have to do for sure

  • It would be extra cool beans if SoundScaper could also be used in the AudioBus FX slot, bad as an AU FX under AUM.

    Are you my neighbour? Lol!
    Love this app, great update!

  • Pot of tea? Tin of soup? You're not from Texas are you?

  • great update as usual but i'm having some problems trying to control the second and the third oscillator with a midi controller (mute and enabling address circuit mainly). the first osc works as usual instead. i've tried to remap all but without success... maybe i'm doing something wrong or something is changed with this release, but someone can please confirm that is working as expected?

    thanks in advance!

  • i just bought a circuit-bent furby, gonna run that fucker straight thru here.

The soup is optional, you can swap this for some chicken fried steak and fritos if you're hungry, feller. Just make sure you don't get gravy all over the thing.

Igor Vasiliev just confirmed that's a bug, a new release fixing it should be released in few days...

Thanks @kobamoto you've just contributed to clearing my wallet. Now I'm sat in the dark fiddling with way too many switches and sliders I can barely see.

The good thing is I really love what I'm hearing albeit I must admit I'm overusing the 'random' buttons scattered all over.

P.s. I wish it worked in IAA effect slot though.

  • haha I'm all over those random buttons too, somehow Igor is like a mad scientist while at the same time he's super practical, ridiculously talented this guy

For that I think FieldScaper is the one to get, it can mangle live audio. It's fairly similar, but doesn't have the circuit mangling stuff.
