How to make Ableton behave like Gadget (play next scene when longest clip finishes)
I'm using Gadget's Ableton Live export to move some of my projects from Gadget to Ableton. Is there a way to get Ableton to play through a series of scenes in the same manner that Gadget does? That is, Gadget will loop all clips in a scene until the longest one finishes, then proceed to the next scene (unless in scene loop mode).
I can't find a way to do this in Abelton. Launch quantize doesn't seem to do it, and Follow Actions would have to be manually set for each scene, identifying one at a time the longest loop and setting a follow action, right?

There is a max for live device by isotonik studios called follow which allows follow actions for scenes. I haven't bought it yet but might do. Ableton may eventually make it a feature. I don't know. Another way is using group tracks which are really useful,
quoted from Ableton staff: "with a Group Track, you can select the group clip slot to select all clips within the group for that Scene, and then apply the bulk Follow Actions.
Additionally, you can then trigger the group clip to activate all contained clips (along with their Follow Actions.)
In this way, group clips act a bit like Scenes, but with the added benefit of having Follow Actions (sort of - technically, the Follow Actions are applied to the contained clips, rather than the group clip, but the result is the same.)"
I think this can get the result you are after, sort of.
I think you've got it backwards. How can we get Gadget to behave like ableton live?
