    Precisely my case. It’s also pretty heavy, in terms of storage.
    At this point, my favourite woodwind sounds on iOS probably come from iWavestation. Pretty expensive app (bought it on special, though), but it’s delivering enough value for me. It’s also a pretty small app, by comparison.

    My sense is that “woody” sounds can work well in synthesis methods using single-cycle waveforms (as in iWavestation, Animoog, etc.). Physical modelling is another neat method.
