Anyone using an iTrack Dock with a USB MIDI interface?

Bit of a long shot I guess - I've also sent an email to Focusrite tech support but figured I'd try here too!

So I have a PC laptop running Cubase 8.5/Reason 9, and a Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6. I've got an Air 2 going into the line inputs of the interface, and I basically just either sample drum patterns I've sequenced, drones, things from YouTube or single notes. I have a master keyboard connected to my laptop, and I was thinking of getting a smaller keyboard just to trigger iOS synths but what'd be better is if I could use my master controller for both PC and iOS.

Soooo, does anyone know if it's possible to connect something like an MAudio MIDISport Uno, where the USB end goes into the iTrack, and the 5-pin goes to the MIDI out of my interface? That way I could route my controller through Cubase (or Reason) to the MIDI output and trigger synths that way, or even sequence phrases on screen and record them back in through audio.

Doable? If I was on Mac it'd be so much easier - I could just Bluetooth it!!
