I 've just played with this app.i don't like it! Sorry!
So digital sounding!
Some presets sound better than others but.....
Deleted!
Same here. Sounded pretty dreadful to me. There were one or two that were okay but most weren't. Deleted.
Update withAB and IAA out now in UK!
Wow, that was fast! Kudos to the UG team for getting this done so quickly. This will be a handy tool for practice and now the occasional work endeavor as well. Opens up now from within UG also .
I have tried this in the effects slot of Audiobus, and get no sound, and the AB screen keeps showing Tap to Launch, even though I already have. Anyone else getting this?
Same issue here.
Acting screwy in the input slot also here.
Took quite a few tries but I finally got it working as IAA with AUM, however...inside AB, it won't work...same problem as reported above.
I tried with AUM and managed to make it work.If you try to let AUM open Tone bridge won't work but if you previously open Tonebridge and you call it as effect in AUM it will work.
Tonebridge has been updated and now works in Audiobus.
Not for me, I must be missing something ( possibly something simple knowing me )
I can set it as an effect in AUM but it doesn't show up anywhere in Audiobus.
Here working in audiobus without problems
Sounds ok.. But no idea why the effect controls both reverb and gain. Sounds like the reverb is there to hide the digital sound..
It's a solid idea for an app however but everytime I see 'how to sound like' it forgets most of the tone is in the guitarist.. I'll upload some covers using the high gain when I get around to it...
Delete and reinstall has done the trick, some interesting tones in this.
I disagree that tone is so much in the player's fingers. I think it's a factor, but I don't think it plays as much of a role as people like to claim. In any case…
I'd LOVE to be able to disable the reverb for all these patches. There's a lot of great tones available, but the lack of control over reverb level (independent of gain, EQ, compression, etc.) is a source of frustration. I often pan the guitar to one side or the other of the stereo spectrum, which makes the burned-in reverb sound synthetic. Control over that one parameter would do wonders.
Nonetheless, I remain very impressed with the range of tones available in this single—need I remind you, FREE—app. Thanks to the devs for taking tone requests! The development of this app is young, and I see greater things in the future.
Hello and thanks to everyone posted! We released a new version with AB and IAA support two days ago, but unfortunately it didn't work with AB properly on some devices. We immediately made a fix and released an update in less that a day. So:
If Tonebridge doesn't work in Audiobus on your device, just open App Store app on your iPhone / iPad and update the app to version 1.1.1.
Please feel free to suggest anything you think the app needs. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback! We'll definitely consider giving more controls over reverb. Please do let me know if there is anything else you think might be improved.
One extra thing to mention is that the app features 2,500 tones now. We plan to increase that up to 4,000 in a matter of the next 30 days. I think we'll work on special bass presets too
Thanks for the feedback. Can you elaborate on digital sounding problem please? If you can provide concrete examples that sounded good enough vs too digital that would be even more helpful. And please let me know you setup too - so we can recreate the same settings and test.
Thanks a lot!
Really loving how responsive the devs are on this forum. Thank you! \m/
Bass presets!!!!
It shows up in AB for me but no sound. In stand alone either.
Ben, try to upgrade Tonebridge to latest version 1.1.1 in App Store.
NoiseHorse, will do in upcoming updates! Bass presets are definitely a must-have thing in Tonebridge :-)
I had some fun playing around with this on my Les Paul today. Interestingly, there's a Rolling Stones preset called "Miss You" that didn't have a Phaser. I thought that was weird, but the preset sounded very good as an overdriven guitar tone. Maybe should have been called "Respectable" or "When the Whip Comes Down". I recorded a riff with it that I think will turn into my next song, which is really cool. I'll definitely play with it some more.
Hey to everyone!
How are the things going with Tonebridge and Audiobus? Is everything OK? Maybe you can share some recordings you made with TB? Feel free to share any suggestions and thoughts. Cheers!
Hey hey, the Auria forum has noticed a glitch involving Tonebridge: Since the most recent Tonebridge update, Auria was having trouble opening up, whether or not Tonebridge was open or not. In my case Tonebridge was updated yesterday(10/28/16) and when everything was not open Auria would not open. Tried closing all apps and rebooting, still no Auria. I deleted Tonebridge and Auria opened and functioned normally. I love Tonebridge, hopefully it's a weird glitch that can be fixed.
Thank you! We are already on it, talking to Auria developers about the issue. Hope to fix it soon!
It also affects Modstep. Only way to launch Modstep was deleting Tonebridge
Yes, we're on it too. Actually we fixed everything and are now waiting for Apple to approve the fix. Will keep you posted.
