Anyone using a Roland JD XI ?
The Novation Circuit is heading out the door shortly- it has been sitting in it's box since I got it.( If anyone is interested I can put it on the marketplace instead of heading for ebay uk). In it's place I am thinking will be a Roland JD XI- from what I can see it sounds pretty impressive and should supply blocs wave with a few things to be getting on with........ Any thoughts on it?

I love mine. Below the surface it's a lot more powerful than it looks (check the midi implementation chart). And it sounds absolutely lush.
I got mine while waiting for my Minilogue to arrive. Both are great, but I prefer the JD-Xi.
How much would you sell it for?
Why are you selling it?
And lastly how well does it integrate with iPad?
I would sell it for £190. It is in totally mint condition. It has been played with for less than 2 hrs.
I am selling it because I don't like it- the sounds (they are too plinky for me) or the workflow. I have spent most of my time in my hardware days using Korg Electribes. It just doesn't suit me. There is an editor available- but I can't be bothered with it- due to my dislike of the Circuit- I would not have the motivation to set about it. I am not interested in it in the slightest- and this became quickly apparent to me after switching it on.
You might have guessed by now- I have no idea how well it integrates with iPad- I never got that far. My intention had been to record some groovy sounds directly into Audioshare for further processing before arriving on Launchpad- which of course you can do with any synth- other than that- I have no idea.
