Button, Button, Where Did The Button Go?

When one runs Animoog for iPhone on an iPad, the HOLD button is no longer there.
Everything else seems to be there.
Button, button, come back to me...
Where did it go?

How do you even do that? And if you can, why do you want to?

Everything else seems to be there.

You have disturbed the order of the Universe. Cthulhu has awoken. Thanks a lot.

  • I owned Animoog for iPhone first and I am relatively cheap. I don't use Animoog that often (yeah, I know that is heresy in some quarters) and couldn't really see the need for the investment in the iPad version.
Don't worry, Cthulhu is actually a rather nice guy; he's just misunderstood.

  • I guess I am confused, as when I bought Animoog, I did not pay for 2 separate versions afaik. I bought it for iPad, and the iPhone app was then available to me as well. Correct me if I'm mistaken, or maybe cosmic disruptions have clouded my memory.

It's univer$al in only one direction. Purchase of the iPad app will give you the iPhone version, but purchase of the iPhone version will not give you the full functionality of the iPad version. I'm cool with that; I just want the HOLD button found on the iPhone version.

  • I see it on my version? Version 1.2.4.

Sean, is that Animoog for IPhone running on an iPad?
It's there for me when I run it on my phone, but not my iPad.

  • I have it on v2.3.5 on my iPad...

Thanks, but I believe that is Animoog for iPad running on an IPad.

No, that's the iPhone version, screenshot taken on my iPhone. What version number is your Animoog showing? Mine is 1.2.4.

  • Running Animoog for iPhone 1.2.4 here
Hold button on my iPhone 6s
NO Hold button on my iPad Air 2 (1x or 2x)
NO Hold button on my iPad Mini 2 (1x or 2x)

Sorry, I've been misreading your posts. All screenshots here are from my iPhone. I only run the iPad version on my iPad.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

    Where did it go?

I just loaded the phone version on my ipad3 and the hold button is indeed gone.

Maybe I missunderstood you but Animoog Ipad version will not give you access to Animoog Iphone version. If you buy Animoog Iphone version you can use it both in your Ipad and Iphone, that's it.

    Thanks for clearing that up.
Yes, it seems to have full iPhone functionality when used on the iPad...without only the HOLD button found on both versions when running on their intended devices.

    Thanks. I knew I wasn't crazy.
Well, maybe crazy in some ways, but not in this case.
