Viewing iPad on monitor

Now I believe that with a Apple TV you could mirror the iPad screen onto a monitor or tv. I could see how this could be useful for those long hours working with some music apps.

I just wondered if now that iPads are getting more powerful, could Apple make it so that you could view the apps you are not using on the monitor while having the selected 'live' screen on the iPad?

This would be so handy for viewing Auria while playing a synth app. Being able to watch that timeline while playing would be so helpful.

Did you have a timeline viewable when you were jamming with your bandmates ? :p hehe

No, seriously, are you using a controller or playing the synth on screen, if you have a controller you can put the synth app in the background.

Lol. No, but humans give signals to when changes are about to happen.

I work very visually. My brain can comprehend upcoming changes so much easier visually. I even find visual cues on metronomes to be very helpful. I think it's how my brain works. Diagrams explain things better to myself than words and numbers.

Remember those times you would play in a band and you can almost see that any moment one of them is going to improvise at any moment :p

Yes, I lift my leg sometimes when about to change the current aroma in a room :D

This is all true when a tune is in its infancy, as a tune matures the clues become more audible as each member puts their own little variations in.

Last time I tried using my iPad with Apple TV there was a lot of latency. It's OK for watching a movie or video but the lag between them made it unusable for anything else.
