I can only hope that BM3 includes better accordion and clarinet samples. The previous ones didn't cut it.
I think they made an "announcement" about BM3 over a year ago now, so if that's any indication, I expect 2020 to be a good year.
Week to go. Getting the symbolic beers in. Arranging for bunting to be delivered. May work on a national anthem etc.
Native sound packs are always convenient . I usually buy them.. I'll buy BM3's too when it comes out. The more the merrier. I've got to have EVERYTHING!
Does it make me happy?? Happy?... Happ....
If they could do a Bm2 with slicker graphics, a way to slip-wrap your loops for resynching, and an option to directly send all your chops to audioshare at once (keeping the dropbox method to stay compatible with Gadget lol)... then I'll be a happy man.
But as one said, a year after the initial announcement, I'll make my opinion on bm3 only when it will effectively be downloadable ;-)
I think it's a pretty safe bet to assume that BM3 will have support for iCloud Drive/iOS-DocumentPicker.
(Still hoping Gadget will get this too...).
If they also manage to include native support for Sandisk iXpand I will be a happy camper
(To my knowledge the only app that has seamless integration with Sandisk iXpand is Infuse. It's possible to browse, manage and play the files from the external iXpand device, no need for 'import').
I'm not coming unless they're real beers.
Uroboros was a potential name for Infinite Looper. But there's also an Australian metal band with that name (sort of a budget Slipknot knockoff -- that wasn't you, was it?).
Image-Line changed their facebook profile photo to a FLM 3 pic, looking for them to usurp the newsfeeds.
For me, to compete with Auria, it's got to have long throw faders in the mix window. Then, FX similar in quality/convenience to Auria's. It wouldn't take much for it to be my primary DAW. But being satisfied already with Auria, I'm mostly after the ultimate MPC.
I sincerely hope they don't try to compete with Auria. I hope they try to make the greatest MPC style beat machine ever. Not on iOS; ever. Including the ability to do something like host it in Auria as an instrument to get great effects (just like you'd do with an MPC-4000 or MV-8800 etc).
Ha. Yes, one in the same. Not how I would describe us but ...
^I'm lying
Hahaha!!!! Small world we live in, isn't it!!

Good to hear that's not really you. I like metal, but a lot of the modern stuff just seems like "shock value" rather than music. You can dress in black and wear a mask, but it still doesn't make you cool. I was googling to figure out a name for the app, ran into this, and that made me run the other direction.
Isn't that capability available now via IAA and Audiobus?
Yep. Just meant that while I'd like to see them add better effects to BM3, I'd rather them get to 'good' and leave 'best in class' effects to Auria/AB/IAA. I'd like them to focus on making the best in class sample based beat machine.
Did you run back into yourself?
fucxactly!
Gotcha
THIS!
...marking calendar to check back
Nicely played.
My Modstep question: is there an imminent update? The last one was in May.
