New feature 'Draw Screen' in SilQ Equalizer
Hi all,
SilQ Equalizer just got updated with a brand new feature. Now you can draw the entire eq curve in 32 band stereo, in one screen. Read all about it in the user manual
Also some bug fixes, improved CPU usage, improved input/output monitoring and some tweaks on the user interface.
Cheers

This is something to look forward to fiddling with. Thanks for the update Mister.
That's really handy.
Wow. Thanks for this surprise. Great app!
Wow awesome update! Thanks!
Better and better!
SilQ was already awesome and now it's really super cool! It is amazing the quality of stuff available for us nowadays. Thanks Mr. Tonappas, I tip my app-hat to you!
Agreed. I think this one has flown under some folks radar, but it's a great conjoining of immediate sound benefit with easy for the stubby of fingers (and brains) to use...
What a wonderful weekend gift. Most unexpected. Absolutely love this app & what it does to a flabby bass drum sound. Brilliant. Thank you so very much kind sir.
Thanks guys! Much appreciated
The new draw feature seems to be useful! Would buy it as an AU Extension
love this eq. I with they would make a au or vst version for my computer daw
An AU extendion is basically a new app 'inside the app'. So, the sales number for SilQ is (so far) not high enough to finance the development of an AU extension. Also, SilQ might be a little overkill running on several tracks (?). That said, it might be a new app containing a AU ext only. Nothing decided yet, and no promises.
This update is about the drawing
Cheers
Yep not sure I would use SilQ as an AU much. SilQ for myself comes out when I need to bandage some problem areas quickly. I couldn't see myself using it much as a per track EQ
I think it'd be cool to be able to load up SilQ in several AUM channels with exaggerated EQ for each track separately instead of only being able to EQ one track or the entire mix.
Not sure I'd buy it all over again just to get AU though.
When you say AU is "basically a new app 'inside the app'..." then is it possible to offer AU as an IAP? I'm guessing it's not since that would solve the issue other devs have of not getting paid for the extra development. Just curious though.
I don't think that is possible.
@tonappas : Many thanks for the latest update. Being able to draw the eq curve is a boon. May I suggest a couple of wishlist items?
1) Larger numerical feedback while making adjustments to sliders (Currently too small).
2) Double-tap on a slider should reset to default setting.
3) Ability to 'solo' an individual eq band, not just 8-band ranges
If any of these wishlist items is already a reality then will someone please point me in the right direction Thx.
EDITED: to correct oversight re item #1
@tonappas I love SilQ and there is just one more request from me and it's a frequency spectrograph both pre/post EQ making it easier to nail the right frequency to process and see how much of it is gone after tweaking...
I second.
Preferably with the ability to turn it off to save resources, but would be really nice to have.
I don't know what it is about SilQ, but I have never been able to dial in just what I need as quickly and satisfactorily with any other EQ. Works fabulously every single time.
Everything is a balance between time consumed in development and sales. No promises for the future, but all suggestions are welcomed and noted
