Problem with Korg KONTROL Editor
I've never had any issues using the Korg KONTROL editor for my nanoKEY Studio or nanoKONTROL. But the other day it refused to recognize both of them.
When I open it, it won't let me select the checkbox for "Show only connected devices."
And when I click on my device it says "Failed to open the MIDI port.
I restarted the computer and I've put the devices back in their default states. But no go.
Gadget, all my apps, and my PC programs recognize both controllers, with no issues.
Any suggestions?

Maybe back up your saved files and the uninstall / reinstall?
Oh, and reinstall the Korg Bluetooth midi service.
