Unfortunately no. The strange thing is that the app “Web MIDI Browser”, which is free and supports web MIDI, recognizes the BopPad. It’s starting page is a MIDI Monitor which shows all events from the BopPad correct.
But when I load the web editor, it says “not connected”
From what I understand, there are no web browsers for iOS that support MIDI via web. This is why the web editor doesn't work on iOS. I am hopeful that they'll do an iOS app as they have for the K-Board.
Speaking of which, my K-Board arrives today!!!! WOOT!!!
It’s because iOS doesn’t support the web - Midi standard. Please sign up on the Keith McMillan forum and ask them to please make an app for us. They seem receptive so if we all speak up I think we can convince them.

So how is it possible, that the MIDI Monitor(http://taktech.org/takm/WebMIDIBrowser/startpage105.html) loaded in the Web Midi Browser app works fine?
Also, if you load the web editor in Safari or Chrome, there is a warning message “Browser does’nt support WebMIDI, which does not occur in the Web Midi Browser.
No idea - just what I read on the McMillen website is all. If you can get the web editor working on iOS, by all means let us know!

I agree - this thing is a complete blast. It's exactly what I was looking for - a drum controller that has a good feel with sticks, is sensitive to hand drumming, and doesn't have an on-board brain. Hell, it's so good that I ordered the K-Board too!

Yes, but instead it is a real instrument, not a controller. Basically a tuneable tank drum with a pick up. Different beasts altogether I know but appeals a bit more to me. I could of course retrive the diy tank drum knocking about in my back garden and stick a mic in it but having a tuneable one opens up a lot of possibilities (why reason I’d never get a hang drum).
I think this garrahand thing put through some tweakable resonant filters, ring modulators, waveshapers, pitch delays and lfos might just produce some creative sonic outcomes. The fact that it plays unamplified is sweet too. $300 isn’t much as these things go either. Might disguise it as a birthday present for my lady
