AUM crashing
Pretty much every time I use AUM now something bombs out and messes up the recording. At first I thought it was Moog 15 as it happened with that one a few times, but it's just done the same thing running Animoog, several times, and other apps previously. In fact I can't remember the last time I recorded with it all the way through, all my tracks end up with something dropping out. Tonight it added insult to injury and lost the recording as well.
I don't want this to sound like a complaint, as the app and Dev are favourites of mine, but just wondered if anyone else is having issues when recording, or I need to do some fancy resource management.
I'm not pushing it - tonight's setup was Animoog and Patterning, powered by Fugue and recorded via AUM, so I would have thought an Air 2 would handle it ok.
I'm one version old iOS-wise so I'll try and update that later, and see if it makes a difference.
Comments
one version as in 9.3.3 ? or do you mean 8.X ?
if the latter than update now. if the former.... increase buffer size. model 15 is an absolute B*****d sometimes.
a buffer <1024 just wont work if you have more than 2 other apps running.
Yeah 9.3.3
It crashed without Moog 15 running the last few times, maybe Animoog is a resource hog too.
What's your buffer if you don't mind me asking ? I'm still on 9.3.3 myself.
I can't pinpoint what's causing it, but I too have been noticing a lot more AUM weirdness and bombs lately.
Maybe something in the latest iOS updates didn't agree with AUM so much?
Can't say for sure its AUM though. Several apps I use have had updates recently, I'm beta testing a couple too, and it's pretty inconsistent so hard to recreate or repeat the failure.
Does seem to be happening with greater frequency I've too noticed lately.
