Something to make you smile
I had a tough long day at work (not a bad day, just tough). It's 11:55pm and I'm making my dinner, so I throw on the movie "take me to the river" on Netflix while I'm cooking. Never heard of it before tonight, but I LOVE Memphis R&B. Scene 2, if it doesn't make you smile, then I don't know. Here's the song, but the conversations in the movie prior to the take are priceless.

@mrufino1 Big smile. Big, big smile. Goddammit I love music.
Yup. I just finished the film, it was incredible. Highly recommended. I wish I lived in Memphis.
Really nice man... Thanks for sharing ;-)
Huge fan of that Memphis sound!
One of my happiest memories is playing with my two sons. They're quiet a bit older than p-nut, but it's always fun to see them just grooving along.
I love the music (well, the classic stuff), but no you don't. Maybe 50-60 years ago.
RIP Otis Clay
Yeah, beyond the music brand (which has survived) Memphis is no bargain...
Expensive or not nice? There's about a 0% I'm moving from NJ anyway as its not only up to me, but I definitely was referring to the music. What's sad is that legends like that are getting recognized on a scale outside of just other musicians so late in their lives by these films. I'm glad for the films though and watching all of the sessions portrayed in this film the sense of love and respect for each other came across really well.
Yup, big smiles throughout. Thanks for posting.
