PreSonus midi
Hi everyone,
I'm willing to buy a Presonus iTwo but I noticed that the midi inputs are 5pins.
I have a Casio CDP 220r keyboard and it have an usb-b on the back panel. Since usb-b to 5pins doesn't exist I think, can someone tell me how I can plug my keyboard to use it for as a midi controller with the Presonus iTwo if I get one of them?

Plug the iTwo into the hub with a powered Camera Connection Kit.
You now have an iPad on charge and three powered USB ports left. These ports will supply power to bus powerable devices and accept USB MIDI devives.
I used to use this exact setup!
So then I can plug my usb midi from my keyboard into that?

Have just updated my post with clearer info.
It's not how the iTwo is supposed to work and PreSonus won't provide customer support for connectivity problems using this setup.. but it works much better than the intended method.

Just to know, is there any latency on the midi with this method?
I found the iConnect Audio 4+ interface to be marginally quicker in general, but the iTwo was pretty snappy. Easily fast enough for live performance with either real instruments or MIDI.

I feel very lucky to have found this thread. I've had a PreSonus iTwo for over a year and really love it aside from the lack of iPad charging and no USB MIDI. Was in the oddly comforting/slightly manic process of convincing myself to upgrade to the iConnect Audio4+ when I found myself here, and realised my original reasons for wanting to upgrade are no longer relevant... Of course, it's not that simple, because I'm basically sold now and want the A4+ anyway, so it's almost a shame my justifications have lost their weight. Irrational gear desire more-ishness revealed in the cold light of day once again...
iConnect 4+ is still better, but PresonusiTwo is a damn fine interface at a much lower price
