Oh Yeah... Audiobus

edited September 2016 in General App Discussion

While I must shamefully admit that I haven't found myself fitting Audiobus into my workflow much of late, I'll be a first day buyer of Audiobus 3. And while I'm not much of a loop recorder guy, I own Loopy and will also be a first day buyer of Loopy Masterpiece.

My purchases won't be some form of pity: I'm sure both products will be excellent, refined, and well worth what I pay for them. But there is a certain 'bigger picture' element involved that I want to reward The Audiobus Team for creating an app and forum that have brought so many like-minded mobile musicians together to discuss all things music (occasionally all things music but Audiobus) in a generally healthy way. Such a vibe doesn't happen by accident: it comes from the top, and I just want to say thank you.

  • +1 to all of the above

  • For me Audiobus is the best way to get an app and a couple of FX into Auria Pro - I much prefer this way than loading in the app and applying the FX in AP, or using Aum, so Audiobus still figures in my workflow. Looking forward to V3, and I'll buy it without blinking.

  • Hear, hear!

    Right here.

  • Same here, looking forward to buying both AB3 and LM!

Audiobus is still important in my playflow (I can't in good conscience call it work.) I've only recently become aware of Loopy Masterpiece. It's odd to be watching videos about it from ages ago, and yet it still doesn't exist for sale. Cool, though, that those interested can see and even participate in a potentially huge app's development. Sounds like it could be something I'd love to have.

This is one of those (few) ones where every month that goes by without LMP the happier I am. I know it might mean there are problems about getting where he wants to go, but I like to think that the work has in places been hard and that's what's going to make it a real piece of work. I remember watching the first video that our friend put out and was taken with the rare insight it gave to where software -of more correctly the idea of software- can be the kind of art that makes people excited to do it. But then it still needs to be done.

I've done some programming myself, and I totally get the excitement the developer, Michael, has about building this app. I only have enough knowledge, though, to just barely appreciate the complexity of it.
