Auria, loop and transport questions
I just bought Auria today. I'm usually working with Ableton and Gadget but needed something with advanced midi out to use Model 15 and other synths, also needed to be able to record long jams. Now I'm confused with something that might seem very basic.
I set a loop and press play, it loops fine, the loop is playing but when I press record it stops the whole thing. So I press play again and now it does record but then it's not looping anymore what's going on?
Same weird behavior happens when I'm in another app and I press record. It just stops Auria
Or when it's actually recording and I press pause. And pause again, then it's not recording anymore and I can't see a difference in color for recording or not in the small transport.
Also wondering :
is there a way to move the loop region around rather than moving the start point and then moving the end point?
No loop shortcut? Only in the drop down menu?
I know I'll probably get used to it but I find it tricky to move clip around. I end up changing the clip's volume most of the time. Is there a way to deactivate the middle volume thing?
Thanks for your advice.

No loop record yet, just loop playback. It's more like ProTools than Ableton Live.
To record you first hit record, then play, not the other way around. And yes, it's annoying that the IAA transport bars don't always change in appearance when you hit record. But depends on the implementation of the app you're in, not in Auria Pro's implementation.
The handiest shortcut for looping is to select what you want to loop, then select Edit > Loop to Selection. And don't forget Auto-Punch, which is in the menu that comes up if you long-press the timer / transport options area at the upper right. Very handy.
When moving clips, just be sure to hold your finger down long enough until you see the clip change color. It doesn't take long to get this habit down.
Mid overdub but no loop record seems a bit pointless
No loop record is a crazy omission from a DAW.
Thank you for the replies, I thought I missed something.
