I sent an email to Ka-spel, several years ago, asking him if the bass line on "Inside" (Chemical Playschool 10) was lifted from Chicago's "25 Or 6 to 4".
"Guilty as charged!" came the reply.
This was at a time just prior to social media, so it was a pretty big deal to get feedback from an established artist.

He is a nice and down to earth guy,
I talked to him after an lpd gig for half an hour.
The band was just standing outside with the audience and shared a smoke.
So it's not like I am this secret cult artist and don't talk to me.
Something tells me Lala really likes the Legendary Pink Dots.
