Session Band input not recording

Well, I sent a support request to the Session Band app developers...no response. :(

I can't get SB to record into either GarageBand or Multitrack DAW. not using any effects. Can you help? Please don't tell me I have to reinstall everything.

    If you have nothing in the effects slot, why use Audiobus? Just use the app's rec button, then export the recording to GB or MTD.

    Which Sessionband are you using? I just did a quick test with the acoustic app and got it recorded into GarageBand no problem. Sometimes the order of setting up is important. This is how I went...

    • 1) Open Audiobus

    • 2) Select Sessionband, leave it grayed out.

    • 3) Select Gargeband and then tap again to load it.

    • 4) Back in Audiobus, tap Sessionband to load.

    • 5) Back to GarageBand select Audio Input as instrument

    • 6) Now in Sessionband, on the Audiobus bar, press the record button under the GarageBand icon.

    • 7) Press play on Sessionband.

    If this doesn't work for you maybe there are other issues. List your device and iOS details and that could help others test for you also.

    Thanks for the responses. I'm using the jazz edition. Finally got a response from the developers. They're aware of the problem. Perhaps it's unique to this edition though I do wonder about their testing process.

    BTW, I didn't have anything in the effects slot because I just wanted a clear path to test the connection.

    I got the jazz edition to record into cubasis but haven't got it to work with Auria.

    I have the same problem as BSkaigh. Sessionband Jazz vol 1 does not record at all, neither in the app nor via audiobus. when the sessionband opens a window comes up: "audiobus initialization problem,... audibus will be disabled"

    ipad 2.2. OS 8.1.1. 32GC, size sessionband download 788.2 MB
    any solutions ?

    I don't think any of the Session Band apps have been updated lately to work with AB2/iOS 8 so that would have to happen first. Try contacting the developer and see if it's being planned.
