I use it a lot. It has presets that just work well with the stuff I do...
It's a great app, but it doesn't support Bluetooth..![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
Why do you need bluetooth on mastering app?
It's nice to have options .. especially on a mastering app. I have a bluetooth receiver hooked up to my home stereo. It would be nice just to compare mixes on different systems.
I can kinda get if you have dozen devices that you want to test tye overall sound through. However bluetooth compresses the signal and i wouldnt use bluetooth in mastering for anything, other than to test through dozen of crappy speakers.
......
Let's not get too technical over this. I know that Bluetooth compresses sound. Why even have a mastering app on an iOS device in the first place? Go to your desktop studio and mix & master. As a matter of fact.. Make all your ur music on ur desktop!
I paid $20 for this app and it couldn't even include that simple "crappy" feature? C'mon!? Options man... Options
I like it, use it, have had good results. I like to use Fab Filter plugs in Auria too, but this one makes it simple..... Even without bluetooth
.
Very handy for an all in iPad mix n master on the couch solution.
At 85% off.....amazing value..

Superb app. There is nothing I've put through it that hasn't emerged sounding better. If it's still on sale grab it fast. You won't be disappointed.
Wow at 85% percent off I would buy it again! Thanks to this site, I've learned to wait till these apps go on sale and then purchase them. Again, if I'm gonna hook up my iPad to my studio monitors ( where my desktop studio is ) then I'd be better off firing up my computer and mastering the song in izotope.
Well the touch interface is nice for this sort of application, and the sound engine of it doesent really differ from that of desktop, so why not? Also its easier to carry ipad around and test it in different places with different amp/speaker combos, which is quite essential for this(as you probably know since you want to test it on your stereo system as well). Not to even mention that plugins that do this sort of stuff as nicely as this app does, costs a fortune on desktop.
I already moved back to desktop for the most part. Pretty much only use some synths, drum synths, isymphonic etc on ipad hooked to ableton. Also i should give this app a go as well, when i get something more serious done. Bought it a while back when it was on huge sale and havent really gotten into it much yet.
Maybe they didnt care to include this sort of feature on the app, since they didnt think people would need it and they want to keep things more serious. Dunno. But i bet you could route it to some other app that can send over bluetooth via audiobus.
If you have Auria and FFs ProQ2, ProC2, ProL and Saturn (for harmonic exciting), you have on your iPad a mastering suite that is more powerful than Ozone (if you search on Gearslutz forums and similar, you will see that there is a consensus that FabFilter is currently the best option on the Desktop, and the Auria plug-ins are a direct port).
If you have a good set of hi-quality references, and a studio grade open back Headphone, you can mix and even (but less likely) master on the go. You'll have to check it on speakers now and then, but the freedom of mixing anywhere is liberating.
I use the Desktop only for tasks the iPad cannot absolutely handle, such as large orchestrated compositions, or critical mastering, which I still prefer doing on speakers, or for the occasional pleasure - because I love to write and record songs with Logic Pro X!
All one would need to do, well in addition to checking Gearslutz, is to use the FF's and heawr the difference. Maybe not with my works, cuz I'm more of a novice at mixing and mastering, but check out some before and after's on Youtube. Or just play around with em. Night and day difference on my tracks at least.
Thank you for the info! I'm looking into it now. Will those apps work with cubasis? I'll have to get Auria when it goes on sale![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Fabfilters plugins are purchased through and only work in Auria.
It is a pity that they are not seperate apps (with au) but that's the deal.
At least one can use IAA apps in Auria and run them through the Fabs.
Thanks jes
