Sequencers similar to triq traq, ids-10, frum?

Im wondering if there exists an app where you can record live, just a rhythm, to be used as a note gate similar to the mentioned apps and then fill that rhythm with notes by just dragging smoothly across a piano roll or pitch slider as the pattern plays. Whenever your drags cross the already programmed rhythm pattern it plugs in a single note of the exact duration of said rhythm/gate event. No polyphony because then you couldn't freely drag your finger all over the place and have the notes snap to touch accordingly. So in practice you hit record, tap out a rhythm, it loops, then you just hold the pitch slider or whatever and move it up and down as the pattern plays, effortlessly creating melodies as the rhythm is filled in. It occurred to be that such a thing would be way more fun than an actual piano roll. A hybrid existing between full live recording and sequencing. Does it exist?

Another one that has elements of what you want is Odesi

You select a chord sequence then bang out a rhythm and it chords in that rhythm

But thinking about it doesn't Triq Trac have a pitch slider anyway?

  • Triq traq does but no control over note length. I'm thinking it don't exist :(

  • You will not find an app that has Audiopaste/Share and LINK that can compare to Triq Traq.

Only option may be for a cool little deviation:

  • One feature that is intriguing is the "mystery bingo" feature. Ostensibly set up as a way for users to discover the many features of the app, there are 25 icons that need to be "completed". What do you "win" if you get them all? I have no idea! Some of them seem obvious on how to achieve them, whereas others still remain a mystery to me. I personally really like this idea, as I think it's a pretty unique way to encourage exploration.

  • TRIQ TRAQ - Where is the Background Audio setting to turn on?

Did anyone ever get them all?

Is not in the app settings, but in System Settings App list:

  • New version of Werkbench should be soon out with LINK. Was announced a while ago by the developer.
