IK Irig HD2 and Bias?
Hi,
"Positive Grid:September 10, 2016 22:34 confirmed that IK Multimedia's iRig HD tend to create bursting noise when browsing the presets of Positive Grid's iOS App. so do NOT use iRig HD with Positive Grid iOS products."
This problem exist with the new Irig HD2 too?
There are 2 updates for Bias in meantime but the version history told nothing about a solution for this issue.
Is there anybody outside who can make a test?

People should report issues of that nature to IK Support because I've never heard of that happening across the board with PG apps, but it may be related to an issue where older iOS devices were running into a low memory or similar condition and causing a burst of noise (and it wasn't unique to IK/iRig interfaces). IK Support can walk you through but sounds like a gross generalization being made there (especially since I see many videos posted where people using iRig HD with PG guitar apps), iRig HD 2 will work fine with any apps that accept digital audio interfaces.
Edit - looks like they posted that long before they contacted us. Now that they have and have a much clearer explanation on how it is not a global issue hopefully they'll change that to reflect more appropriate information.
Hi,
thanks for your answer. Now I got an response from the PG support too.
"....the issue happens only on older iOS devices, like iPAD mini 1 and iPAD2. It's related to Apple's USB audio streaming introduced to iOS9.1 and Apple wouldn't want to fix it, since they are older models. We have confirmed with IK Multimedia, that users should use later iPAD models..."
That was an important info, which is not mentioned in the FAQ
I hope they will update the FAQ soon.
Now i can order my Irig HD2
