  • Is it already available Cubasis 2.0?

  • I think Cubasis has nosed back out in front excluding all the expensive iaps

But if times right $50 for both is a steal

  • to clarify, i use both and i really like AP but cubasis 2 looks really good...
and i dont take price into considration since i own both, i just want to know what others who own both think

  • I don't think it's a killer, but Cubasis feels right at home on the iPad. I'd it give the edge as well.

  • Nope. Next.

Good to see some healthy competition though.

Beyond the feature set, there's also workflow, ease-of-use, learning-curve etc. To me -making music for fun, rather than for a living- that's even more important than just putting two feature check-lists next to each other.

Either way, to me obviously Audio Unit support is crucial and Cubasis has set the benchmark there.

    Well said...

  • Why do you have to go on about one app killing another, why can't we all get along. This wouldn't be happening if Attack & Release were named sonething like Love & Cherish instead, it puts us all in a blood-lusting mind-state.

  • I too look forward to the engagement and forgiveness envelope

They're both great but Auria (Pro) is still superior imo. I was mostly hoping this update would bring groupchannels and side-chaining but I don't think it's there. Still great, I like the spin fx and channel strip.

The question is not really of any use. Those that need certain features, just need them. They are both knives designed to cut a different cloth that's all.

Sorry, you don't get to make a thread that has 'flame war' written all over it and pull back with a 'please don't make this a flamewar'. If you want to discuss features of an app, then discuss them. If you want to pit one app against another, there's always Facebook.
