In Rock We Trust
My latest album is just out!
It is a collection of my rock tracks, spanning several years.
Most of the tracks were recorded on iPad and all were remixed and mastered on iPad (although some of the older ones were digitized from cassette tape!)
I used Cubasis to remix making use of SilQ on the Master bus and Audio Mastering for final touches.
Guitar app wise there is a mix of Amplitube, Jamup Pro, Tonestack, Flying Haggis and Bias FX, with drums from Rock Drummer and Cubasis (plus DrumJam on Neb Senu). There is some real bass guitar and some Cubasis and Bismark bs16i bass.

Very cool! I will give it a proper listen later tonight. And put this right beside @supanorton 's album.
ios rock albums!
Very nice songs @AlterEgo_UK
A lot of different styles of rock rolled into this one. Excellent guitar playin. I really enjoyed listening to EVERY song. Be proud of this one.
Vocals are great. And.........they are quite different from song to song. Nice!
Just listened to the first few tracks - and I'm impressed! Quite varied and good songs. I particularly liked the opener, really grabs the attention!
Thanks, guys. Yes, I enjoy experimenting with different vocal styles as well as musical styles
Wow, Colin. How do you find the time? Just had time to listen to the first few, but as always, it sounds great; love the riffage. I'll listen to the rest and purchase when I've got some time at a PC. Congratulations, Colin.
Cheers, @supanorton . Most of these tracks were already done (some of them from years ago) so the time needed was really about listening and mixing/re-mastering (and re-recording some bits). I really wanted to get most of my rock tracks together in an album so this was a good opportunity.
Modesty, sir. Mixing/mastering takes longer than tracking in my world. You've a real nice variety of guitar tones on this stuff. I really like your vocals, too. Bravo!
Yes, I guess so. Thanks again. @supanorton Glad you liked it
Thoroughly enjoyed a Sunday sesh of listening to and experiencing your Rock. Highlight for me was "Halloween." That riff you're crunching out is delightful, deeply felt & damn dirty. Took me back to early Saxon days. Love the double bass drumming you've played in there.
Brilliantly played throughout your whole album. Congrats riffmeister.
Well, thank you very much @Bluepunk ! Much appreciated!
Listened a couple of 3-4 times on this today among with my daytime job. Perfect for that (I often listen to simular music to force the programming brain cells to wake up ) Noticed 'The Rush', 'Halloween' but bet this is the kind of songs that get better and better over time. Would l love to improvise a guitar track to 'The Loss'. Overall very likeable!
Projects like this should be brought to the mass to show what you can do on an iPad.
Great!!
Wow, thanks so much @tonappas !
SilQ worked great, especially for the older tracks that I didn't have the stems for so I used on the whole track!
You're welcome, and thanks
