Mac Sierra OS

Just wondering what people are thinking of this, and whether it is causing any problems, either stand alone or when using with iOS devices.

  • My Korg Plug-Ins(Legacy Collection) and TAL-PlugIns are working fine with Logic Pro X under macOS Seirra.
Renoise, SunVox, MilkyTracker, GoatTracker etc. work just as before.

  • Could I use this with a laptop or does it have to be a Mac?

    Should theoretically work...

I'm running on mid 2013 MacBook Air...

  • Thanks @Samu. I thought I had read on the AB forum some issue with aggregate devices. Do you know anything about that?

So far no issues with my aggregated device with iPhone 5 & iPad Air 2 but I prefer to keep my both iOS devices as separate devices/inputs just in case i don't connect both of them.

I can't speak for 'everyone' just what I've noticed so far and it's been smooth.

  • Thanks again @Samu. I'll probably see where this thread goes for a day or two, but I expect I'll pull the trigger shortly.

  • No problems here Russ, on a mid 2010 imac. Will load it on my mid 2009 macbook this weekend.

  • Sierra seems to be problematic on hackintosh so I'm not going to try it myself just yet. Also my 15" MBP from 2009 is not supported...

  • Thanks Morris. I'm on a late 2014 Mac Mini here and an early 2011 MBP at home. At least I can try it on one and have a backup if things go awry.
