Genome and BeatMaker 2

Just starting with audio production on the iPad. Have found BeatMaker 2 to be the best all round tool for my personal workflow, but I dislike the MIDI piano roll interface. Would like to use Genome to act as the MIDI input for BeatMaker 2. Can anyone advise me on what I need to do to sync up the two apps? Thank you in advance.
