Just successfully moved here (I pity anyone else who has to face entering the rental market here!) and so am now starting to get to know the city, trying to make new connections in music etc.

I am from Dublin but currently live in Australia, I only replied to wish you a welcome to my actual and spiritual home, Dublin is a great place for musicians however I think you will need to like pubs to get the most out of it.
Best of luck in Dublin. We enjoyed our visit. My wife's employer has an office there and we talk about relocating for a time.
