nanoKey Studio Arpeggiator frustration
I have my nanoKey Studio set up with five different midi channels for the five scenes, and I use it to play five different apps loaded in AUM, and quickly switch between them using the Scene buttons. Awesome. Except one major problem. It appears the Arpeggiator is the ONLY setting in the nanoKey that is always locked to the Global midi channel. No way in Korg Kontrol Editor to change this. I found this in the manual after pulling out some hair:
TIP The arpeggiator is played on the Global MIDI channel.
Any ideas on how to point the Arp at the desired channel easily? I could intercept and remap it with Midiflow but I don't like the idea of loading an extra app, and having to switch to it to change Arp channel. Is there a sysex command I can send to the nanoKey on the fly that would change the Global midi channel in realtime? Arggg, why can't it be as easy as changing scenes like every other parameter!!!
(By the way I'm using it in USB wired mode and syncing the Arp with Link To Midi)

Not much (any?) interest in this thread! but for what its worth, I solved this on my Mac with Bome's Midi Translator Pro. I'll probably put together a similar solution in TB-MIDI Stuff for iPad.
My Bome's script:
