  • Uh, no? On my iPhone 6s strumming the strings creates a static-swamped guitar sound. And there ain't much else...

Always suspicious of these supposed forward thinking apps that insist on using the word "jam," as if that was a thing that was said among the cool music types!

  • Agree. Just saw it was free at the moment and saw no reviews. So just grab it if you're curious and play with it, if it's nothing just delete it. Anybody that has more info or video reviews is welcome ofcourse ;)

  • It says, "Note: you don't need an Apple Watch to use Strumm."

Has anyone tried this app? If so, how good is it without an Apple Watch? Will it work well with an iPad mini if you don't have NBA player size hands? Inquiring minds need to know...

I appreciate the post. This looks like something worth looking into.

  • Check out the video background on the app's website.

  • From the description in the AppStore, it doesn't really seem to do much. Seems more like a gimmick/toy app than something you would use to record/write music.
I could be wrong, but the developer isn't really making it attractive by the lack of info on what you can actually do with the app.

Yes, but for some of us it's just too late to change the names! ;)

haha. You are the the exception to the rule!
One Jam to rule them all.
And ThumbJam is fun to say too.
