This was just posted to the iPad Musicians facebook group. Caution: could be a rumor, could also be true.
Needless to say this would make many (me included) very happy. Wavestation is an awesome machine.
Especially if they'd also add it as a Gadget...

Korg Wavestation on iOS?
Well - yes! I actually had a play with a beta of it on Saturday at Synth Fest UK. At first I didn't realize it was the Wavestation app - I just saw a Korg controller plugged into an iPad using that new Korg Plug Key. It was only after a moment of enjoying the sounds I realized what the app was :-)
And whilst I had someone with "Korg" on their name badge I did mention the fact that iMS20 could do with a little love these days...."

Ah totally missed that. Sorry!
That would be me under my real name :-)
Its "real" in the sense Korg had an iPad with a Wavestation app running on it, but its a "rumor" in the sense the app is in beta and therefore might, or might not, reach the market at some time. I didn't ask the obvious question - like "When will this be released, and for how much?". Sorry.
Thanks for bringing the good news either way! I can't count how often I've said "If only Korg would bring the Wavestation to iOS!" :-)
