AudioCopy soundpacks

I've got 8 soundpacks in AudioCopy taking up just under 1gb of space. They consist of loops and one shots. The loops I have copied into Blocs Wave, so they are essentially on my device twice. The one shots I use in apps as needed.

Does anyone know of a way to get the packs easily to my iCloud Drive so that I can delete them and save space, but still get to them to use as needed? The only way I seem able is to copy over the files one at a time - will take an age. I do not have a working computer with iTunes on, so that is out. My computer runs Linux.

Anyone got any ideas to save my sanity, or is it too late for that? :p

  • Maybe someday the developers of AudioCopy will 'wake up' and implement standard iOS features for sharing and managing files. One of these new features could be a 'Sync/Copy AudioCopy content to iCloud Drive'(Or other iOS FileProvider enabled apps).

Use Funbox or CopyTransControl and move the folders wherever you like.

I am sure that DropBox or your ICLOUD.com page would give you multiple options of ways of doing it.

I haggle with this all the time.

I have over 20 sum Audiocopy packs I am always haggling around to meet storage needs.

I never use ITUNES, so is possible.

You also can use Audioshare WIFI maybe with your PC and one of the aforementioned programs of file movement.

Fuck me, I just counted, 51 packs from the Audiocopy store..........no wonder I need space.

  • I secretly wish that AudioShare and AudioCopy would have a 'love-child'.

AudioShare has the file-management nailed down (It supports most file-types and has good sharing options). AudioCopy has pretty decent sample-editor but could use the 'recording'(Line In with Input-Monitoring, IAA and AudioBus) and 'trimming'(Snap to Tempo etc.) features from AudioShare together with the broader file-format support that AudioShare has.

    Are they available for Linux?

  • I don't know how much pressure Retronyms has regarding development of AudioCopy but from what I know they just released a new AudioCopy SDK a few days ago.

AudioShare is just a WebDAV thing (which you probably know)
if the other apps have a Windoze component you may try run that under Wine on Linux
for easy config Crossover is a good choice, can be tried for free and if it works the fee is neglectable
(considering the time a proper Wine config takes)
I used Crossover for years as a runtime environment for my Win developement under OSX

  • Thanks all will get the old rusty laptop out lol

  • Under Linux maybe gtkpod is a Solution
