Assignable effects per track?!

Effects sound great, with aux sends, but not obvious if you can automate them. Easy export to audioshare, audio copy, soundcloud, iTunes…

    Elastic Drums? Your move.

  • Thanks for the update and thanks for the update.

  • Dhalang, Turnado, MiMiX, and now this update -- all within a few days?!?

Combined with the Ableton Live update, it's like Christmas at my house.

Must we throw these mighty warriors into the pit yet again? I love me some OG, too.

I love them both too, and there's an ED update right around the corner. Healthy competition!

They compete and can easily cooperate, got Link both of them. A kind of engagement.

  • A good update with triplets and aux fx. Nice one.

  • It's not just that it does nice things, but that it does nice things so clearly. Member of the happy bunny squad this Texan Thursday morning.

Exactly. Still unclear about fx automation, though.

Yeah. Spoiled by DM1. They did set themselves a high bar by way of the inevitable comparison etc. The FX work well enough and I like the XYs for live recording, but no apparent automation at this point...fingers crossed.

  • Looks like they refined the text and UI with some of the more critically small type not using the "scanline" aesthetic, and improvement in overall readability. Pretty much what' I'd suggested. ;)

And, I'm not sure if it's my imagination... but the actual sound seems more full and beefier. I haven't used it in awhile, and I didn't play with it before updating. I'm going strictly off memory, but it does sound noticably improved to me.

I think you might be right. It sounds really good.

As I swipe around my iPhone I see Elastic Drums is there yes, but where is DM2? Hmm let's check the App Store, nope not there either :(

Ding ding. It did take DM1 something like a year+ to get an iPhone version so perhaps it's coming.

Ah, didn't know the history, thanks for the lesson. I'll keep my fingers crossed the phone gets some love :)

  • Hi,
am I the only one having immense problems to make DM2 a midi sync slave?

Taking the two, Patterning and DM2 on the other side, Patterning stays in sync and runs well as a slave but DM2 immediatly lags behind.
I am aware there is a audio delay function but that does not help either...
    How are your experiences?
    regards
    F.

^^^^ I have no problems using DM2 in Cubasis, recording audio or midi notes from DM2

  • that might be if you stay inside the ipad.
my clock source is the Ocatrack.. the OT delivers the clock to patterning just fine and if I try DM2 it lags like hell....

Please let the developer know. It is a major update, so try to be patient.
