Akaii MPK249 with iPad?
Anyone using one and how is the mapping process or are there some for iOS included? Been. Looking for a nice quality midi controller and the pads on this look so sweet!

Anyone find a video of the pair in use?
i have the 225 and i am a total novice-- the mapping (especially for animoog) is super user friendly. i just bought a used Push 1 and the mpk225's pads are way more sensitive, too. i love it. not sure about the 249 but the one drawback is that you can't upload existing presets. you can save the ones you make, though.
I have the MPK 261 and is a good one. Many faders and buttons, good pads. Drawback no dedicated split button ( you can do but editing within the keyboard). No sysex output ( in that roland A-800 pro is better).
Midi input is not automatically routed to output, you have to connect the keyboard to a PC to make use of midi in.
