That's the big cherry on the SB link-cake in my kitchen...

  • I've still yet to get into the Link thing, and sometimes it actually annoys me when one app changes the tempo of another without asking first. I'm sure I'll use it at some point - not sure how it improves this app though...

Feeding Linked apps into Blocs... oh man, it is so good!

Oh I know it's a good thing, I just haven't really embraced it's loveliness yet.

That sounds interesting, is that into the recording section? I guess Linking up some drums and whatnot would be good for loops.

yes, I record everything in Blocs now. Even long overdubs of several minutes. To me it is the perfect place to start a track. commiting to audio right away then export it all to a pc daw for chopping and hacking etc. It is like a daw-prep app... Or something. Err, it is awesome!

Often times i will link Modstep to sequence synth apps and record them in. It is also great for Patterning, Egoist (running in Aum or using Link to Midi) My productivity has exploded the past two months because of Blocs.

Thanks, I'll have a fiddle with some Linked apps later.

I'm a fan of Blocs too, really easy to record into as well
