Focusrite Scarlet 6i6 and iPad Pro

My university has vocal booths with Focusrite 6i6 audio interfaces hooked up to Protools on the Mac. I'm thinking of bringing my iPad Pro 9.7 in the booth instead.

Does anyone know if the camera connection kit will work with this interface?
I would like to record direct to Auria Pro or Cubasis with this.

  • Absolutely. You'll just need to prepare your iPad first. Close all apps and then open up auria pro. Plug everything and power up the 6i6 before you connect it to the iPad.

    Excellent thanks.

  • I use a mk2 with iPad Pro and cck, it's great. I startup AUM first and set hardware settings there.

  • Yes, always set your desired latency/ frame rate before connecting the CCK. You can set it inside Audiobus, AUM, Auria, etc. Whichever app you open first will have control of audio settings (even if it is the YouTube app or Safari, so be sure to force close everything).
