    This movie actually had a great soundtrack. The Plimsouls were the headliners, and now Peter Case lives in San Francisco. He plays a lot of house concerts, it's really fun.

    Had to perform that composition amongst a number of other Zappa tracks years ago during my BA. I loved this tune (I was playing bass). The girls hated it..

    The song "Valley Girl" is not in the movie "Valley Girl" and the movie is unrelated to Zappa, other than him, you know, starting the whole "valley girl" thing. (Incidentally, the song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" is in the movie "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" but is not sung by Cyndi Lauper.)
