Sequencing tips for BSP and ZOOM U24 (or any audio unit with MIDI in/out.)

A very recent discovery 
A few apps are capable of MIDI in/out, which means that I can record them from the app itself directly onto my sequencer BSP (Arturia beat step pro).
It can be done with any sequencer with midi in/out, same for sound card, because the signal must return via MIDI. Otherwise it is only one way communication.
These excellent apps are:
1] Animoog,
2] Model 15
3]Bass Line.
I hope there are others
Each have their particularities or features in editing etc, but all are great.
Most surprising was BassLine which I hardly use, but it has some incredible editing and features.
The 64 steps correspond to 64 steps on BSP, meaning I can edit and write a note into the sequencer into precise step, WITHOUT waiting for that step to come around and me hitting the note on time.
All I need to do to put into BSP step #44 and note D#, is to go into BassLine and navigate to that step and push that note...WOW it is written on that step in BSP.
