Pocket Operators: Which one to buy?
Got gift card for Guitar Center for my Birthday for the amount of a Pocket Operator.
Which one do you like or use?
Or, which one would you get?
I am thinking Office or Arcade. My understanding it is best to buy the newer styled ones they are more advanced.
Am I incorrect?
Thanks yall.

PO-12 is wonderful ! I have my eyes on the arcade too
I've got all of them myself. The PO-12 Rhythm is definitely the easiest to get something usable out of. The newer ones (PO-20 set) will have a factory reset option in case you ever want to get those presets back, but all the fun is in creating your own loops anyway! I'd choose the Robot (o_0).
You really can't go wrong with any of them, but really the most easy to program and best sounding one has to be the rhythm. I use it the most.
Yep the po12 is always in my pocket, smallest groovebox ever! If you re into glitch beats it's a no-brainer! Also, it's the only PO that is fully chromatic!
I have the PO-12, PO-14, and PO-16, and I like them in that order. So I echo the praise of the PO-12. Can't speak to the newer series.
Got the 12
Didn't get to actually learn how to use it yet.
Not sure on my opinion yet
I was gifted a PO-12 and quickly realized how misleading the size and raw guts are: the actual sound is tough as nails / legit as heck. (Instantly wanted more of em but have chilled thus far)
Tip on the 12, the 2 last sound are melodic, and you can automate the pitch across the sequencer
Also the FX button is really useful to add movements in your patterns
You did the right choice with the 12, it s amazing! The 20 arcade, is the other winner if you re into chip tunes
Not particularly.
For occasional "hits" in other songs, but not whole beep boop teek thing.
I am a house elect industrial glitch person.
I see people using them with IPhones online?
How does that work?
What do I need? Just wires or some type of audio mixer?
I have IPhone7plus and AIR1 and AIR2.
So I am wondering how do I get these cool little patterns I make into a useful form?
Thanks Pierre.
I got a gift card for literally the exact $ for 1, so I got it.
I am just needing this louder and seeing how to rig it.
I love the sounds actually, I just want the easiest way to make them a .wav file.
I am willing to even use PC to record but would love to use into IOS device.
Just need to figure best way.
Oh what about after market non TE covers?
I've only seen their own...
There's a Korg app that sends the clicks to drive the TEs, via Mini jacks called SyncKontrol, that has wist which for some reason allowed me to sync to iPad link apps, then its line into ipad from TE for recording
I use the Behringer UCA202 interface (super cheap / super good) to record my PO. The 202 has been my ultra-mobile A/D typically going into AudioShare.
As for cases I've yet to get one of these myself but dig the design.
