Studiomix and Logic Pro
Hi guys,
I just found out about studiomux and how it could help me integrate the iPad into my studio workflow. I have a few apps which I really like and would like to use them in my music.
Also, I discovered that this forum has a huge community talking about iPad music apps besides audiobus and I hope I'm posting this in the right section.
So far, with studiomux, I was able to integrate the audio from apps like Samplr, Animoog and Borderlands into my Logic session which I'm really happy with.
However, I would like to have something clarified to me before continuing to drive myself crazy trying to figure this out on my own.
Is it possible to have an app like Fugue Machine to sequence my hardware synths that receive Midi from my saffire pro 56 through studiomux ?
I don't really understand the midi capabilities of studiomux even after reading the manual and watching some videos...I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks everyone

yes. studiomux will bridge the MIDI environments on the PC and ipad into a single one.
so for example fugue machine will see the hardware interface's midi out, and logic can see the midi ports on ipad apps.
works quite well in my experience.
So you were able to send midi data from fugue machine to the hardware synths connected to your audio interface while using logic pro and studiomux, specifically ?
I would be very thankful if someone would teach me the process
not much to it. once studiomux is running, start fugue machine and in the midi settings choose the desired midi output
