DAW-like apps for iPhone
Does anyone have any recommendations for DAW-like apps for the iPhone? It can be something like Infinite/Aleph Looper, or really anything that can be a good host for my multitude of music apps.

Welcome to the club!
MTDAW no midi but you can record your iaa apps mix add effects etc. Theres also Beatmaker 2.
see post above
Oops, forgot this one: http://audiob.us/get/1025/AUM
I have Beatmaker II on iphone but its a bit cryptic. I was able to record midi into it from guitarism, but then, I don't remember how i made it work. If i recall, had to arm midi channel with an empty sound, only way that it worked i think. Not so intuitive as AUM or Infinite Looper but it does both midi and audio.
also Caustic and NanoStudio
EDIT: scratch that, those aren't hosts,
Don't forget GarageBand.
I'm using a combo of AUM, infinite looper, and harmonic dog multitrack daw.
Music Studio has always tempted me, but on iPhone, I like these lighter, more accessible apps.
Also, many people use gadget as their DAW to great success.
@MusicMan4Christ Good list for ya. Including the solution to your Beataker@ midi woes...
My process, far from a science:
This is what I do, but then these stems make it into harmonic dog, from audioshare.
@johnfromberkeley Same here, but getting to that point for me is one part compositional ignorance, and one part too-fiddly haven't-mastered-the-app. Working on both
n-Track Studio is a good choice too. It supports AU as well.
