Yay!!!
Awesome! Thanks Doug.
This synth is serous business. Thanks a lot Doug - we really needed this.
Thanks, I'm pleased you liked the demo, and yes it is very good
Sounds a litlle bit like synth x to my ears!
No way I could hear this and not buy it....thanks (I guess) for pushing me over the edge!
@thesoundtestroom Glad you played the superb Curried preset....so Billy Currie. I've been Mr X ing since I got this
Absolutely brilliant! This may be my favorite app ever! (Which should come as no surprise since The Odyssey has always been near and dear to my heart. But now presets and polyphony and effects!!! Cor!) Speaking of dear to my heart, so sorry to hear of your health problems! You have been missed. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thanks for the video, Doug. Hope you're feeling better soon!
Good stuff Connery!! :-)
The Return of Doug! Great to see/hear that you feel healthy enough to make a demo. I had decided that I didn't need yet another synth, but as usual hearing what can be done with this is making me think again. How cut down is the Gadget version, I wonder?
It lacks the arp which is handy for putting motion into sounds. It also lacks any sounds you make in the full app. Other than those, it's pretty much the full app. Some settings are actually easier to change on the Gadget version due to size! Some may also find the layout easier in the Gadget version! (The Oddy has an odd layout when compared to many other synths. Fine though once you get used to it).
Just to add, you can do the arp modulation thing with automation in Gadget and the CCs are listed, they are not already programmed in, so some sounds are different from the full app.
Okay, thanks for that.
PS. I may be a little erratic in my AB forum activity for the time being. Just discovered that my other half has a health scare, and am thinking of little else.
Sorry to hear that. Hope all works out ok.
@Nkersov, So sorry to hear about that man. I'll keep her in my prayers for a speedy recovery and for strength. You know we all take all this for granted but remember IOS musician family is here for you man.
I dedicate this Holy Scripture verse for you and your loved one:
Isaiah 41:13 KJV
[13] For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
This scripture helped me personally get through some of the toughest times of my life. I do appreciate having this virtual IOS family though for many were praying for me too.
Sorry guys for getting off topic, but just felt in my heart to say these words to our fellow musician friend.
@MusicMan4Christ I don't want to live in a world where empathy and encouragement for other human beings is considered "off topic".
We're not really religious folk, but keep an open mind, and thank you for your kindness.
AB forum is now the only place on-line I post. Here, while members can disagree, it's usual civil, instructional, entertaining and positive. Elsewhere, the trolls and other strange creatures have taken over the asylum.
Saying prayers for you and your other half. Hopefully you will back here unhampered sooner rather than later.

Appreciated.
Sorry to hear that, hope they're ok.
Yeah, thanks MonzoPro.
Likewise , all the best to you and your other half, I hope it turns out ok.
Thanks, Doug, good to see (well, hear) you, glad to hear you expect a full recovery back to normal. Eventually. I know how it goes, have my own fight on for the foreseeable future. Definitely distracting from the real stuff (i.e. this).
The money quote: "I used to play a lot of Odyssy. Don't remember it sounding this good!".
Thank you.
