When did that happen? Seems like lots of people were asking for it. Makes it much more convenient to add effects without leaving the page you're on and going to mixer view.

    And what's more, you now have automation lanes for whatever insert effects you have added to that track.

    I'm pretty sure this is new.

    And completely awesome for detailed studio work (eg automating reverb and delay creatively etc).

    They also performed some kind of under-the-hood optimisation - gadget now works a bit faster on my ipad and I just noticed it takes 50% less space than before (400 vs 800 Mb). Best app ever :)

    I agree a same song which crackled before now doesn't and that's with Oddy included! Loving it !!!

    Do you drive gadget from modstep? Or just use them side by side with Link?

    Yeah drive from Modstep, it has the templates for most of the Gadget devices, love it. It's like running two daws with rewire and modstep recalls the apps when you load a project.

    Just make sure you save the Gadget project (within Gadget), as Modstep doesn't state save. I also use Blocs inside Modstep like this for my audio/recording needs.
