    Yeah I like this sort of stuff but I don't always agree with what they say is useful about it.

    For example, they are talking about using the BPM that corresponds with the frequency of the root key and to do it because the waves will essentially be in line with the quantisation points and therefore you will get more pure tones...i.e less dissonance, which makes it less tiring to listen to. All very true...

    Personally I will avoid using those harmonic BPM's rather than try to use them....dissonance is what adds interest to a sound or tune...chords work because of the dissonance, sine waves are boring - no dissonance, saw waves are much more interesting, due to the extra frequencies that are there, add a bit of detune and you get a bigger fatter sound...because of the dissonance.
    So to me trying to eliminate dissonance goes a long way to making the end result sound all too dull :)

    Of course this is just the punk and anarchist in me coming out :)
