DXI got an update!
Bug fixes and MIDI CC#64 dumper pedal support.
Glad to see it's not abandoned: it's still my favorite FM synth!

It's called "Phasemaker!"
Can't stand the interface. Deleted and forgotten unfortunately.
The knobs are some of my least favorite, so would at least have to change those to sliders to get my interest back.
Not sure why the sequencer window is so small when you can't make use of the rest of the screen anyway while it's open (iirc). Everything needs to get a bit bigger (again, if iirc)
The thing they could change is the way it handles patch storing: it's so easy to overwrite and delete something by mistake.
Phasemaker is great, and it's AU. Something @brambos could take from DXi is the visual way the envelopes tell in which stage they are as a sound is played: it's a really thoughtful feature and great guidance for creating evolving patches. You hear the effect and you see clearly what is behind it.
I just asked for AU support in their page: you'll never know before trying: http://www.taktech.org/takm/DXie/DXi_for_iPhone.html
DXi is quite nice but as mentioned the patch-handling is still lacking.
I do like the small oscilloscope/spectrum analyser as well as the 'loop option' on the envelopes and it sounds super 'clean' with no artificially added noise like FM4.
