New Auxy version not supporting my "older" iPhone 5.

I don't consider iPhone to be "old", I'm not planning on replacing it until next year at earliest.

If Gadget & iSD10 are happy enough running on my phone (and they are) Auxy should be too.

Auxy have earned a black mark from me. Grrrr!

  • I'm assuming you're talking about version 3.0 of Auxy Music Studio? It says iOS 9 and iPhone 5s are compatible, so that means they've gone 64-bit.

They say on the appstore page:

"Please note: In order to bring high quality sounds to Auxy, we have stopped supporting some older devices. Even if you are not able to update, you will still be able to run the previous version.

    Also in this version:

    • New grid setting lets you add soft notes
    • Loops can be transposed one octave up or down
    • Creating a new scene keeps active loops playing
    • Updated mastering settings
    • Possible to get more delay when turning it to max
    • “Featured Tracks” lets you explore tracks made in Auxy
    • Bug fixes and performance improvements"

I know we all want the latest and greatest, but is there enough new stuff here that it really makes a big difference?

  • I was just so excited to finally get a piano sound on my phone.
