Track Breakdown │ 9x Phasemaker - haQ attaQ 187
As requested by viewers I am deconstructing the "x9 Phasemaker"-video. Not only am I demoing all the sounds one by one. I am also showing you the effects and processors used for every track, including the audio track containing my vocals. Stick to the end for a vlog about the difficulties and issues I faced when making this track, my thoughts on Audio Unit preset systems and more

An impressive feat and a wonderful walkthrough! Excellent stuff!
Loved the bloopers at the end![B) B)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
I recently did a Cubasis project with 10 Phasemakers, and I've run into the same project-opening issues. According to Steinberg this is completely normal, and is an issue with iOS's internal AU infrastructure. So we'll have to wait for Apple's devs to finish the work on Messenger Stickers to sort it out.
Glad you're also addressing the monkeybusiness with presets. For me this issue ranks #1 on the list of things I want Apple to clarify. Who should be responsible for managing user presets? Apple hints it should be done by the hosts, the hosts point to the plugin devs and I feel it should be managed by iOS to ensure user plugins will be available to all AU hosts and plugins across the entire user account (which could span multiple devices).
Hey @jakoB_haQ, nice work as usual....could you do a vid on how you created the siren sound...it seems this would be good for explaining how to use the modulators in Phasemaker....![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I really do wish Phasemaker had 'longer' envelope-times and well, more 'stages' than just ADSR.
Guess I'll have to find a cheapish class compliant USB-Midi interface and hook up the TX81Z to the iPad...
(I'm too 'coloured and hooked' by the TX81Z & YM2151 type FM-Sounds).
@brambos Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
I hope Apple gets working on a native preset system that could include more app's than jus AU plugs. A system where presets are so native to iOS that it ties into the cloud-saving system.
I want to be able to make custom settings for stuff like camera controls to etc.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
@AndyPlankton Funny you should suggest that. I had planned on doing it but then decided not to because I though no one would find it interesting. Looks like I have to reconsider.
Being a Dub-head I love siren sounds, so it's something I love making and I could talk about it for hours! =D
@Samu Does the TX81Z have AHDSR envelopes? I can't remember, long time since I used one.
The siren sound is dope !!!
I have a really hard time 'hearing' the difference between my 'real' TX81Z and Yamaha's FM Essentials.app when it's set to TX81Z mode. The app sounds a bit cleaner(less noise) but I figure that has more to do with the D/A in use.
The FM Essentials.app adds a few tricks that are not present on the TX81Z (Per OP Feedback) but it does lack the 'Pseudo-Reverb' that messes with the release time, 'note-echo/delay/repeat' and a few others and It's not 8-part multi-timbral with output-assign for the voices (2 individual outputs on the TX).
And well the TX81Z 'factory presets' do almost bring a nostalgic tear to my eye...
Then please do, us fellow dub heads are more than willing to watch and listen![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
excellent post jakoB_haQ ... could do with a few more of these![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
