    To be fair I think you're in the small minority of users that would prefer that behavior instead of the iOS assumption of how things should work. I think they make the correct decision in that one. for example I hate that my lumia 650 does exactly what you just described as correct behavior from the OS (not stop the sound when the headphone jack it's removed). It think in general iOS (and android for that matter) make the correct assumptions for 95% of humanity, people on the edges suffer a bit but the other option would be to overstuff the settings to please every minor use case.
