Ha. Thought I recognized your user name. I'm will at CDM replying to you.
You saw that it was submitted to the FCC, right?
Ok, I've always been under the impression that mpc touch was a standalone box. Apologies.
wow, didn't actually check that link until now, quite a discussion going on, I'm kind of amazed, I can't tell if Dubb is not interested or realllllllllllllllly interested now
the amount of choices available out there these days and soon to be days is amazing, I'll have one of each please..
Amazing indeed.
Since my HipHop background and due I finally understood that Dub was my place (but Dub in 2016 not purist in anyway) I had to deal with #realdjing mindsets and so... and lately the mantram was "iPads are toys" plus "standalone is everytime better" which is kinda funny when "the standalone" is worst than "iPad" but people buy by Brand or nostalgia.
So, it could be a great product but people must to understand that isn't far by iPad and maybe without core audio/midi and lots of wonderful things in iOS
ergo
Numark has to bring facts and people should avoid "clichés" since this machine has nothing to do with a jjOS (modded) mpc. Just standalone but far from "computerless"
iPads and JJOS modded MPCs aren't "computerless" either. They just don't run Windows.
The new MPC OS is neither Android or Windows, this has been confirmed by Akai staffers, not sure if that is a good or bad thing.
I need a t-shirt with this.
